Winter break research task: colour

1) This specific shade of pink is known as the most calming colour that exists. Due to studies conducted in prisons it is said to slow down the heart rate and reduce aggression. Around 1,500 prisons in The USA paint their cell walls this colour.

2) Colours influence depth perception. Warm colours appear closer whereas cool colours appear further away. This can be used in art to create depth. 

3) The human eye can see more shades of green than any other colour. Night vision goggles are green so that even the slightest of activity can be seen through them.
