Inspiration: Ivan Solyaev

Ivan Solyaev, known as Solyaev online, is a Russian illustrator, concept artist and art director based in Moscow, Russia. I came across his work recently and it instantly captivated me, it's hauntingly beautiful and would be a great source of inspiration for my colour story project, as I'm basing it around black.

Solyaev has worked with many companies over the years, even having his work displayed on a massive digital billboard in Times Square, New York. His personal work is committed to exploring themes of death and the unknown through his imagined universe. His medium of choice is digital, he also experiments with digital animation.
