Visual Exploration 2: Colour story idea

Noct

I like this idea a lot and will most likely go with it. I want it to read like a storybook with comic elements, and some pop up elements.

The little cat protagonist will meet mythical creatures to conquer the fear of the dark.
He soon finds out that the beasts are friendly despite their scary looks.
I want Noct to use a cat doll in some scenes, which can interact with the book. I will handmake the cat doll and attach it to the book somehow or make a pocket or pouch. I think the doll will be more of a companion piece rather than a main story element, just a novelty for some of the pages.

Beginning - Noct is terrified of the dark until one day he falls into a dark magical well which is the home of the creatures of the darkness. He is forced to conquer his fear.
Middle - He finds kindness in the creatures living there as they treat him well.
End - Noct is no longer afraid of the dark and its inhabitants, he feels brave and on top of the world!
